Minoxidil and Nizoral alone are unlikely to stop hair loss effectively, as they do not address the root cause, which is often DHT. Many users suggest incorporating a 5AR inhibitor like finasteride or dutasteride for better results, despite concerns about potential side effects.

They have tried many treatments over the course of two years without seeing much success, and they are considering getting a hair system as a last resort.

Topical finasteride combined with minoxidil is used for hair loss treatment, with some users experiencing fewer side effects compared to oral finasteride. Morr-F, a topical solution, shows better results than minoxidil alone, with minimal adverse effects reported.

The user has used finasteride and minoxidil for five years to slow hair loss but hasn't seen regrowth. They are considering increasing finasteride dosage, switching to dutasteride, and exploring microneedling and oral minoxidil.
