Finax by Dr. Reddy’s is an oral medication containing 1mg of finasteride per tablet. It is used to treat male pattern baldness by inhibiting the enzyme type II 5α-reductase, which converts testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone responsible for hair loss. By blocking DHT, Finax helps to prevent further hair loss and promotes hair regrowth in men with mild to moderate hair loss. Each pack contains 30 tablets, and the product is not intended for use by women. The current product expiry date is November 2025.
