    TLDR Prostate cancer is common, but risk can be reduced by avoiding smoking, unhealthy diet, inactivity, certain medications, and risky jobs.
    Prostate cancer (PCa) continues to be the second most prevalent cancer in men, with future screening expected to rise. Advances in diagnostic methods aim to decrease the number of men requiring diagnosis and treatment to save a life. Avoidable risk factors for PCa include smoking, diet, physical activity, specific medications, and certain occupations.
