    Isha Sharma, Shweta Shukla
This case study examines the management of Indralupta, correlated with alopecia areata, using an Ayurvedic regimen. A 19-year-old male patient experienced hair loss, scalp itching, dryness, and discoloration. After 90 days of Shamana therapy, which includes drugs with hair follicle stimulation and anti-inflammatory properties, the patient showed complete relief from symptoms and increased hair density with reduced hair fall. The study suggests that Shamana therapy can effectively treat Indralupta with minimal side effects and low recurrence risk.
