A Retrospective Review of Anthralin in Petrolatum in the Treatment of Alopecia Areata in the Pediatric Population

    The study reviewed the use of topical anthralin in concentrations ranging from 0.1% to 1% for treating alopecia areata in children. It found that anthralin 0.2% provided the best balance of efficacy and tolerability, with over 75% hair regrowth achieved after a treatment duration of at least 6 months.
