The study investigated the relationship between ABO blood groups, serum ferritin levels, and telogen effluvium (TE) in women, involving 103 female TE patients and 125 controls. The results indicated no significant association between ferritin levels and blood groups in TE patients. The study concluded that while there was no link between ABO blood groups, Rhesus factor, and ferritin levels in TE, it was the first to explore this relationship, suggesting the need for further research with larger sample sizes.
