TLDR High consumption of avocado leaves harms male fertility.
The study investigated the effects of acetaminophen and avocado leaves on the hormonal profile and semen analysis in 42 male Wistar rats. Acetaminophen administration increased LH and FSH hormones, with excessive FSH potentially affecting reproduction negatively. Testosterone levels increased at lower doses but decreased at higher doses of acetaminophen. Avocado leaf extract significantly reduced body weight and negatively impacted semen, sperm motility, and viability, suggesting that high consumption of avocado leaves adversely affects the male reproductive system.
