The study focused on the phytochemical analysis of essential oils from yarrow species, particularly Achillea millefolium L., using chromatography-mass spectrometry. It was found that the essential oil of yarrow floodplain was rich in sesquiterpenes like hamazulen (23.23%) and karyophyllenoxydу (15.18%), while the essential oil of yarrow contained high levels of monoterpenoids such as β-pinene (25.35%) and sabinene (13.63%). Pharmacological studies demonstrated that an ointment containing yarrow floodplain essential oil had a pronounced healing effect and significantly stimulated hair growth on damaged skin.
