This narrative literature review examines the role of aesthetic medicine treatments in enhancing the quality of life for oncology patients, who often experience changes in physical appearance due to cancer and its treatments. It provides a clinical guide for the safe use of treatments like botulinum toxin, fillers, mesotherapy, and laser therapy, emphasizing the need for oncologist consultation before any procedures. The review analyzed 51 studies to establish safe protocols for aesthetic treatments during cancer follow-up, aiming to support patients' self-esteem and well-being. It also addresses hair loss prevention and treatment strategies, such as topical minoxidil and scalp cooling systems during chemotherapy, and calls for further research to ensure safe application in oncology patients.
