TLDR Alopecia areata in young Ukrainian men varies in severity, requiring personalized treatment.
The study examined clinical-anamnestic and trichoscopic features in 81 young Ukrainian men with alopecia areata of varying severity. Significant differences were found across severity grades. Grade 1 patients showed higher hair loss, gray hair, and physical stress, while Grade 2 had more mixed-type hair loss and smoking prevalence. Grade 3 exhibited the most severe baldness, pronounced scaling, and hair pore miniaturization. These findings highlight the diverse clinical presentations of alopecia areata, emphasizing the need for tailored approaches in managing this condition.
