The review emphasizes the importance of a multidisciplinary approach, combining clinical treatment with emotional support, to improve patient quality of life. It calls for further research to refine existing therapies and explore new, effective, and accessible treatment options, considering the complex interplay of genetic and environmental factors in disease progression.
