TLDR Frontal fibrosing alopecia is increasingly affecting men, causing hair loss around the hairline and possibly other areas.
Frontal fibrosing alopecia is a lymphocytic scarring alopecia that typically appears as a symmetrical band-shaped patch of hair loss around the frontal hairline and can extend to other areas like the eyebrows and back hairline. While it is more common in postmenopausal women, there is an increasing number of cases in men. This document presents two cases of frontal fibrosing alopecia in male patients, highlighting the condition's manifestation and potential spread to other body areas, including the development of facial papules.
