An Effective Siddha Management For Alopecia Areata (Puzhuvettu) – A Case Report

This case report discusses the treatment of a patient with Alopecia areata using Siddha medicine, an approach from traditional Indian medicine. Alopecia areata is an autoimmune disorder characterized by non-scarring hair loss on the scalp and body, and it can affect individuals of all ages. The study highlights the use of both internal and external Siddha treatments, which resulted in significant hair regrowth in a short period. The findings suggest that Siddha medicine can be an effective treatment option for managing Alopecia areata.
