An Integrative Approach of Neeli Bhringraj Polyherbal Hair Oil in Clinical Evaluation of Androgenetic Alopecia (Khalitya) and Premature Hair Graying (Pālitya): A Randomized, Double-Blind Clinical Study

The study evaluated the efficacy of Neeli Bhringadi hair oil, a traditional Ayurvedic polyherbal formulation, in treating androgenetic alopecia and premature hair graying over 120 days with 75 participants. The study was randomized and double-blind, comparing the polyherbal oil alone, with 5% minoxidil, and 5% minoxidil alone. Results showed significant improvements in hair growth rate, density, thickness, and a reduction in graying severity and scalp flaking for the polyherbal oil group. The findings suggest that Neeli Bhringadi hair oil is safe and beneficial for hair growth and pigmentation, supporting its use in integrative hair care strategies.
