    This retrospective cohort study investigated the association between androgenetic alopecia (AGA) and the incidence of cardiovascular disease risk factors. The study aimed to address inconsistencies in previous research that suggested a link between AGA and increased cardiometabolic risk. By utilizing a more robust methodological approach and avoiding reliance on self-reported data, the study concluded that AGA is not associated with an increased incidence of cardiovascular disease risk factors. This finding challenges prior assumptions and suggests that AGA may not be a reliable indicator of cardiometabolic risk.
