The study developed a polyherbal anti-hair fall shampoo using Hibiscus rosa-sinensis leaf extract as the main active ingredient. The shampoo, formulated with natural surfactants, antimicrobial agents, humectants, and conditioning agents, was optimized for a scalp-friendly pH and demonstrated favorable organoleptic properties, optimal viscosity, and stable foaming ability. It showed effective cleansing action and stability under storage conditions. The herbal extracts contributed to hair strengthening, scalp nourishment, dandruff control, and reduced hair fall. The shampoo proved to be effective, safe, and eco-friendly compared to synthetic alternatives, with further clinical studies recommended to validate its therapeutic efficacy and commercial potential.
