Formulation And Evaluation Of Anti-Pollution Polyherbal Shampoo Enriched With Pomegranate Peel Extract

The study formulated and evaluated an anti-pollution polyherbal shampoo enriched with pomegranate peel extract, known for its antioxidant and anti-aging properties. The shampoo also included ingredients like activated charcoal for deep cleansing, reetha extract, amla extract, and others. It was assessed on various parameters such as physical appearance, pH, viscosity, and antimicrobial activity. The results indicated that the shampoo had good cleansing ability, stable foam formation, suitable viscosity, and a scalp-friendly pH, with no irritation observed. The study concluded that this herbal shampoo is a safe and effective alternative to synthetic shampoos for protecting against pollution-related hair damage.
