Assessment of Blood and Renal Function Profiles in Pregnant Women from Narowal, Pakistan

    TLDR Certain blood and kidney tests can indicate pregnancy.
    The study assessed blood and renal function profiles in pregnant women from Narowal, Pakistan, by analyzing blood samples from 160 pregnant women and 160 control women for hematological parameters, and 51 pregnant women and 51 control women for renal function. Significant differences were found in hematological parameters such as hemoglobin, hematocrit, and white blood cells, as well as in renal function markers like blood urea and serum creatinine. These findings suggest that certain hematological and renal function tests could serve as biomarkers of pregnancy. Further research with a larger sample size is needed for more precise information.
