TLDR The iron supplement effectively improves iron levels and reduces symptoms with good tolerance.
The study assessed the tolerability and efficacy of micronized and emulsified ferric pyrophosphate supplementation in 119 patients aged 19-70 with iron deficiency. After 3 months, 61.9% of women showed increased iron levels, and 57.6% of patients had increased ferritin levels. A significant 95.4% of participants reported a decrease in iron deficiency symptoms, although 38% experienced some discomfort during supplementation. Overall, 83.2% rated the supplement positively. The study concluded that this form of iron supplementation effectively improves laboratory results and reduces deficiency symptoms with good tolerance and minimal side effects.
