TLDR Homeopathy might help manage autoimmune diseases.
This narrative review explores the potential role of homoeopathy as a complementary or alternative treatment for autoimmune diseases, which are typically managed with immunosuppressive therapies that can have adverse effects. The review critically examines recent evidence from 2025, including case reports, case series, and experimental studies, focusing on conditions like vitiligo, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease, immune thrombocytopenic purpura, and alopecia areata. It highlights clinical outcomes and discusses possible immunomodulatory mechanisms of homoeopathic interventions, suggesting that homoeopathy may offer a holistic and individualized approach to managing autoimmune disorders.
