The condition, characterized by non-scarring bald patches, was treated using Ayurvedic methods, including Raktamoskhan by Jalauka and specific internal and external drugs, over a period of 4 months. The treatment, which also included a diet regimen from Ayurvedic texts, resulted in a speedy recovery and significant regrowth of scalp hair, demonstrating the effectiveness of classical Ayurvedic treatments for alopecia areata.
