The study assessed an Ayurvedic leave-on treatment for premature hair greying in healthy Indian adults aged 20–42, demonstrating its safety and efficacy. Over a four-month period, the treatment significantly increased natural black hair density and reduced grey hair count in both male and female participants. In vitro analysis showed that the treatment enhances melanogenesis by upregulating melanin production in melanocytes. Clinically, 100% of users experienced improved dark hair density, and 97% reported reduced grey hair, with no adverse effects observed, confirming its effectiveness and safety for addressing greying concerns.
