An Ayurvedic Diagnostic Approach to Understanding Trichoscopic Findings in Hair Loss: A Conceptual Review

This review examines the integration of trichoscopic findings with Ayurvedic diagnostics in understanding hair loss. By analyzing trichoscopic images from 100 patients, it was found that Ayurvedic signs align well with modern trichoscopic parameters like hair density and follicular characteristics. The study suggests that trichoscopy, a non-invasive tool, can enhance Ayurvedic approaches to diagnosing and managing hair loss by providing a scientific basis for Ayurvedic diagnostics. This integration aids in diagnosing hair disorders related to doshic imbalances and can improve treatment strategies, potentially enhancing follicular density and reducing inflammation.
