TLDR Bimatoprost effectively and safely improves eyebrow appearance.
The study assessed the efficacy and safety of bimatoprost 0.03% ophthalmic solution for treating eyebrow hypotrichosis in a randomized, double-blind, vehicle-controlled trial with 20 subjects. The group applying bimatoprost daily for 9 months showed significant improvements in eyebrow appearance at 6 and 7 months (p = .002 and p = .005, respectively) compared to the vehicle group, which showed no significant changes. Subjects in the bimatoprost group reported greater satisfaction with eyebrow fullness, thickness, and color. No adverse effects were observed, indicating that bimatoprost effectively and safely enhances eyebrow appearance.
