TLDR The new hair restoration technique shows promise for quick, appealing results with minimal recovery time.
The study investigates a new hair restoration method using bio-enhanced simultaneous transplant long hair FUE, which aims to deliver immediate aesthetic results with minimal recovery time. Conducted on 10 patients, the procedure includes advanced anesthesia, simultaneous graft extraction and implantation, and techniques to maintain follicular integrity. The addition of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cells from transected grafts enhances hair growth and healing. Initial results showed a 38.6% retention rate of transplanted hair follicles, which increased to 99.1% by the 9-month follow-up, demonstrating the procedure's effectiveness. The study suggests this technique could surpass traditional FUE outcomes, but larger studies are needed to confirm its efficacy.
