TLDR The Brazilian version of the Alopecia Areata Quality of Life Index is reliable for assessing patients' quality of life.
The study focused on translating, culturally adapting, and validating the Brazilian version of the Alopecia Areata Quality of Life Index (AA-QLI-BRA). This process involved several stages, including translation, back-translation, and pre-testing, to ensure the tool's relevance and accuracy in the Brazilian context. The validation process confirmed that the AA-QLI-BRA is a reliable and valid instrument for assessing the quality of life in Brazilian patients with alopecia areata. This tool can help healthcare professionals better understand the impact of alopecia areata on patients' lives and improve patient care in Brazil.
