Formulation and Evaluation of Physical Stability of Caffein Herbasome® Cream

The study focuses on formulating and evaluating the physical stability of Caffein Herbasome® cream, which can treat cellulitis, reduce hair loss, and protect the skin. Three cream formulas with 1% Caffein Herbasome® were tested for organoleptic properties, homogeneity, pH, dispersal, adhesion, and viscosity. All formulas showed stable organoleptic properties, homogeneity, and a pH range of 5.57-6.69. Dispersal diameters varied, with formula 1 at 6 cm, formula 2 at 5.7 cm, and formula 3 at 5 cm. Higher stearic acid concentration increased viscosity, reduced spread area, and prolonged adhesion time. The creams met adhesion test requirements and are suitable for skin application.
