    The study investigated the effects of carpronium chloride, a hair growth reagent, on microvascular blood flow in rat mesenteric arterioles using intravital videomicroscopy. The researchers applied carpronium chloride topically and observed arteriolar vasodilation and increased blood flow without affecting mean systemic blood pressure. The findings suggested that carpronium chloride caused dilation of vascular smooth muscle in the microcirculation.
