Case Report - Efficacy of diode laser for treating acne keloidalisnuchae

A case report from 2005 assessed the efficacy of diode laser treatment for acne keloidalis nuchae in 2 cases, showing 90-95% clearance of lesions after 4 sessions at 1 to 1.5 month intervals. No new lesions appeared during a 6-month follow-up. The study suggested that diode laser hair epilation could be a first-line therapy for this condition after addressing bacterial infections. This was the first attempt to use diode laser for treating acne keloidalis nuchae.
