A Case Report on the Management of Khalitya (Hair Fall)

A 26-year-old female patient experiencing Khalitya (hair fall), dandruff, scalp itching, and hair dryness was treated at the National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur. The treatment involved the application of Dhatturadi Tail and oral administration of Yashtimadhu churna with milk. The effectiveness of the therapy was assessed using a unique scoring scheme, comparing the patient's symptoms before and after treatment. The case highlights the Ayurvedic approach to managing hair fall, which considers factors like chemical hair products, lifestyle choices, and hormonal imbalances as contributing causes.
