TLDR CCL 27 levels are similar in people with and without alopecia areata.
This study investigated the serum levels of CCL 27 in patients with alopecia areata compared to a control group, with each group consisting of 35 individuals. The study found no significant difference in the mean serum levels of CCL 27 between the alopecia areata patients and the control group (P>0.05). Additionally, there was no significant relationship between CCL 27 levels and gender or age in either group (P>0.05).
