The study investigated the effects of Cervi Parvum Cornu complex, specifically Angelicae Gigantis Radix and Glycyrrhizae Radix complex (CAG), on men with moderate lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). Conducted from November 2020 to January 2022, it involved participants with an International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS) of 12-19, who were divided into three groups: CAG 500 mg/day, CAG 1000 mg/day, and a placebo group. Over 12 weeks, the primary endpoint was the change in IPSS, with secondary endpoints including changes in PSA, testosterone, DHT, maximum urinary flow rate, post-void residual volume, and erectile function. The results showed that CAG treatment for 12 weeks was well tolerated and had a therapeutic effect on moderate LUTS, with no significant adverse events reported.
