This study investigated the side effects of the CHOP chemotherapy regimen in 19 patients with aggressive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, who underwent 99 treatment cycles and returned 74 questionnaires. The most common side effect was alopecia, with all patients experiencing hair loss by the third cycle. Fatigue and taste changes were also prevalent, affecting 77% and 74% of patients, respectively. Postchemotherapy nausea was identified as the most troublesome side effect, followed by fatigue, taste changes, constipation, and difficulty sleeping. These findings highlighted the wide range of side effects experienced by patients undergoing CHOP, suggesting the need for further research into these issues.
