The study evaluated the efficacy and safety of CL22209, a standardized extract of Asparagus racemosus, in alleviating vasomotor and menstrual symptoms in 75 early perimenopausal women over 120 days. Participants received either 50 mg or 100 mg of CL22209 or a placebo. Results showed significant reductions in Menopausal Rating Scale scores and Hot Flash Weekly Weighted Scores, with improvements in menstrual symptoms and hormonal regulation. The extract demonstrated a dose-dependent effect on hormone levels and was well-tolerated with no serious adverse events. CL22209 is positioned as a promising natural intervention for perimenopausal symptom relief and hormonal balance.
