    This study evaluates the therapeutic potential of SPARC-modified adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADSCs) for treating skin wounds in dogs, including those in aging and diabetic models. The results show that these modified cells significantly enhance wound healing by promoting re-epithelialization, collagen deposition, angiogenesis, and hair follicle regeneration while reducing inflammation. SPARC overexpression improves cellular resistance to oxidative stress and enhances cell proliferation and migration. The study highlights the superior therapeutic effects of SPARC exosomes in hydrogel form compared to cell-only injections. Despite promising outcomes, the study notes limitations such as a small sample size and short duration, suggesting the need for further research on long-term safety and optimal dosing.
