Clinical Outcome of the Topical Application of a Novel Hair Growth Ingredient, USPlus DERM, in Men and Women

    In a 12-week clinical study involving 22 participants (15 men and 7 women) aged 25-65 with unresolved hair loss, the topical application of a 2% USPlus DERM serum, a saw palmetto extract, demonstrated significant improvements in hair loss and density. Dermatologic assessments showed an 8.7% improvement in hair loss for men and 25.2% for women, with a 31.7% reduction in dandruff. By the study's end, 90.9% of participants noticed improvements in hair loss and density, with general hair loss and density improving by 22.4% and 19.5%, respectively. The product was well tolerated, with high compliance and a satisfaction rating of 7.7/10, indicating its potential effectiveness in promoting healthy hair growth.
