TLDR New tools help assess eyebrow, eyelash, and nail changes in Alopecia Areata, improving understanding of patient experiences.
The development of Clinician-Reported Outcome (ClinRO) and Patient-Reported Outcome (PRO) measures for assessing eyebrow, eyelash, and nail appearance in patients with Alopecia Areata (AA) provided valuable tools for evaluating outcomes that were significant to patients. These measures, along with photoguides and a PRO measure for eye irritation, offered clear and meaningful assessments, enhancing the understanding of patient experiences and treatment impacts in AA.
