TLDR The CRABP I gene in cashmere goats is highly conserved but has unique features at specific amino sites.
The study successfully cloned the cDNA sequence of the CRABP I gene in Inner Mongolian cashmere goats and analyzed its protein structure and expression. The CRABP I gene's open reading frame (ORF) was 414 bp and showed high similarity with other species. The protein lacked signal peptides, transmembrane segments, and glycosylation sites, and its secondary structure mainly consisted of β sheets, α helixes, and loops. The gene was most highly expressed at 90 days of embryo development compared to 100, 120, and 130 days. The study concluded that while the ORF of the CRABP I gene is conserved across species, specific characteristics at amino sites 33 and 123 are unique to cashmere goats. Further research is needed to understand the gene's polymorphism and its regulatory mechanisms in hair follicle sebaceous glands.

Creatine might speed up hair loss in some people, especially those prone to male pattern baldness, but results differ. Some users experience no hair loss when using finasteride or dutasteride alongside creatine.

community I have a theory about hair loss

Hair loss is often linked to inflammation and DHT, with treatments like finasteride, dutasteride, and minoxidil being effective for many. Natural remedies like turmeric and oils are discussed, but medications are generally seen as more reliable for managing genetic hair loss.
