TLDR Effective scalp problem treatment needs a comprehensive approach.
This study highlights the most common trichological problems of the scalp, such as seborrhea, seborrheic dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, and various forms of alopecia, emphasizing their complex etiopathogenesis involving genetic, hormonal, immunological, environmental, and lifestyle factors. It underscores the importance of proper differential diagnosis and modern diagnostic methods like trichoscopy and laboratory tests. The findings suggest that effective treatment requires a comprehensive approach, combining symptomatic treatment with addressing predisposing factors and coexisting systemic disorders, ultimately improving therapy effectiveness and patient quality of life.
