TLDR Cord blood platelet-rich plasma may safely improve vulvar lichen sclerosus symptoms.
This preliminary study suggests that cord blood platelet-rich plasma (CB-PRP) could be a promising treatment for vulvar lichen sclerosus (VLS). The findings indicate that CB-PRP is safe and may lead to improvements in symptoms and sexual function for individuals with VLS. Further research, such as a randomized controlled trial, is needed to confirm these results.
