Covid-19, Diagnostic History And Mortality From Medicare 1999-2021, In An All-Cause Mortality Approach

    Nick Williams
The study analyzed Covid-19 mortality using Medicare data from 1999 to 2021, focusing on the impact of primary infection and exacerbations of pre-existing conditions like cancer, diabetes, and cardiac and respiratory diseases. It found that the consequences of primary infection were observable through Generalized Linear Models (GLM), and that long-Covid conditions were predictable for those who survived the initial clinical presentation of Covid-19.
