    The study conducted in Freixo de Espada à Cinta, North-Eastern Portugal, involved 1,000 subjects and aimed to determine the prevalence of various cutaneous lesions. The findings revealed that 51.9% of participants were of phototype III. The most common conditions observed were melanocytic nevi (81.2%), hemangiomas (26.5%), and androgenetic alopecia (20.5%). The study also noted significant differences in the prevalence of certain conditions based on sex and age, with females having more nevi than males and an increase in nevi with age. Acne was prevalent in 46.2% of the 15-29 age group. The study highlighted that solar keratosis was notably higher in individuals over 60 years old, at 30.6%. Contrary to existing literature, no association was found between phototype and solar keratosis. Cutaneous tumors were present in 0.7% of the cases.
