This document presents two cases of men in their 30s who developed frontal fibrosing alopecia (FFA) after undergoing hair transplantation abroad. Both experienced inflammation and burning at the frontal hairline, with hair-margin retraction, but no other scalp or body hair loss. Biopsies confirmed FFA, a type of cicatricial alopecia with unclear causes, potentially linked to immune dysregulation and autoimmune damage. The study suggests that trauma from hair transplantation may trigger FFA, a phenomenon known as koebnerization. Previous reports have also linked hair transplantation and other cosmetic procedures to FFA and lichen planopilaris. This highlights the need for awareness among dermatologists to improve diagnosis and management of such cases as cosmetic hair procedures become more common.
