TLDR Most people with metabolic syndrome in Brazil have skin issues, especially if they are morbidly obese.
This study investigated the prevalence of dermatological manifestations in 93 patients with metabolic syndrome (MS) in Gurupi, Tocantins, Brazil. It found that 69.89% of participants exhibited skin issues, with morbid obesity being a significant factor linked to MS and skin alterations.
