TLDR Few healthcare workers had skin reactions after Covid-19 vaccination.
The study conducted at a tertiary care hospital in Delhi involved 676 vaccinated healthcare workers to identify dermatological adverse effects following Covid-19 vaccination with Covaxin and Covishield. Results showed that only 14 participants (2.0%) developed new dermatological manifestations, with a slightly higher incidence observed in those vaccinated with Covaxin, though not statistically significant. Paramedical workers experienced a significantly higher rate of these adverse effects (P = 0.018). Overall, the study concluded that the rate of cutaneous adverse reactions was low, suggesting the need for further research to confirm these findings.
