    Kanmani Indra Couppoussamy, Rajendra Devanda
TLDR DCPA commonly affects males' lower legs, showing follicular pustules and white areas.
This retrospective study examined the dermoscopic features of dermatitis cruris pustulosa et atrophicans (DCPA) in 30 patients at a tertiary care center in South India, highlighting a male preponderance and common involvement of lower extremities. Key dermoscopic findings included follicular-based pustules in all patients, follicular white structureless areas in 53.3%, and perifollicular collarette of scales in 40%. Other features were diffuse background dotted blood vessels and absence of follicular orifices, with less common vascular and pigmentary patterns. The study's limitations included its retrospective nature, small sample size, and lack of a comparison group.
