Development and standardization of Ayurveda natural hair pack for hair growth and scalp health

This study developed and standardized an Ayurveda natural hair pack using ingredients like Shikakai, Amla, Fenugreek, Hibiscus, Bael, and Citrus peel, known for their hair-strengthening properties. The formulation process included cleaning, drying, and powdering the ingredients, followed by mixing them in specific proportions. The hair pack underwent various tests, including Thin Layer Chromatography, microbiological safety, heavy metal analysis, pH, and moisture content evaluation. The results showed a suitable pH of 3.5 for the scalp, no artificial coloring, and compliance with safety regulations. The study concluded that standardized Ayurveda formulations can offer effective and scientifically validated alternatives to synthetic hair care products.
