Development and Characterization of Herbal Emulgel Containing Piper Betle Leaf Extract with In Vivo Studies

The study developed and evaluated a herbal emulgel containing Piper betle leaf extract for topical use, focusing on its physicochemical properties and in vivo performance using albino mice. The emulgel demonstrated satisfactory stability, non-irritant properties, and enhanced drug release. Notably, it showed significant hair growth-promoting activity compared to the control group, indicating its potential as a topical formulation for dermatological and hair growth applications.
