Review on Diagnostic and Managerial Consequences of PCOS Among Females
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) diagnosis has evolved over time, with the Rotterdam criteria from 2003 being one of the most effective. A diet with moderate carbohydrates and fats, along with reduced protein, can help manage hormonal issues and co-morbidities. Treatments include oral contraceptives, anti-diabetic medications like metformin, and cosmetic hair removal. Monitoring genotypes and medicinal proposals may also provide medical benefits.
