A Comparative Study of Diane-35 Plus Spironolactone and Diane-35 Plus Finasteride in Cases of Hirsutism and Acne

    The study compared the efficacy and safety of Diane 35 combined with either spironolactone or finasteride in treating hirsutism and acne in 120 Indian women. Over 12 months, both treatment groups showed significant reductions in hirsutism and acne scores, with assessments every 3 months. The results indicated that both combinations were equally effective and safe. The study concluded that extending the treatment period beyond 12 months could lead to better outcomes.
